- Upload your video (up to 2 GB, ≤ 20 min).
- Select your email provider target (Gmail 25 MB / Outlook 20 MB / Other 15 MB).
- Choose optional add-ons: Priority Processing, Transcript.
- Pay securely via Stripe. We’ll compress and email you a download link.
What happens under the hood
Without revealing proprietary heuristics, here’s the high-level process:
- Probe: We read container/stream metadata (duration, resolution) to estimate an optimal bitrate budget.
- Targeting: We budget for the provider cap (with safety margin) so the final file reliably attaches.
- Bitrate split: We reserve audio bits (AAC) and allocate the rest to video intelligently.
- Scaling: If the bit budget is tight relative to resolution, we downscale to preserve clarity and avoid artifacts.
- Pass strategy: Long clips or tight budgets trigger a two-pass encode for steadier quality.
- Fast start: We optimize the MP4 for instant playback and email delivery.

Privacy & retention
- Required email: We need it to send your download link. We do not sell or share it.
- Short retention: Source and output files are deleted automatically after the download window (about 30 minutes by default).
- Payments: Handled by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers.
